Working Weekends & Volunteering

Working Weekend Projects/ Volunteer groups are an integral part of Play Away. Groups of young people from varying organisations often carry out projects to benefit the centre. Past projects have included land management, painting and decorating, murals, and the building of a camp site. We believe that as well as benefiting the centre they also benefit the young people participating. Groups sometimes plan and organise the project themselves with supervision from their leaders and Play Away staff.
