About the Centre

Welcome to Eshton Grange. Based in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Play Away Trust has established a purpose-equipped children's recreational, educational and residential facility for the young people of Liverpool and the Craven area of North Yorkshire.

The centre is open all year round, closing only for the Christmas period. It is ideal for residential visits and curriculum-based educational trips by schools and youth groups. For schools in particular the surrounding area is suitable for environmental and geographical field studies, as well as outdoor pursuits.

The centre operates in compliance with all Government/HSE legislation.

Costs are subsidised by the Play Away charity and start from £8 per person per night for community/voluntary groups.
